### What are PEEK's advantages over titanium mesh and autologous bone?

PEEK produces no MRI artefacts (titanium mesh does), has low thermal conductivity (no cold sensation in winter, unlike titanium), and an elastic modulus ≈ 3.6 GPa close to bone.
